I find it interesting that Paula chose to put this song on the album, considering that (if I read the liner notes correctly) it's something she wrote 8 years ago. I guess I would chalk up the different level of quality in the lyrics to Paula's comparable lack of maturity/life experience when she wrote it. Now, why she made the decision in 1999 to put a song from 1991 on the album, I can't really say. But the age of the song may say something about why it sticks out a bit from the rest.
