The time of the taping has not yet been announced, but it will probably be at 7:00 p.m. I should also mention Robbie Williams ("Millennium") will also be appearing that night and he'll probably be taping at 9:00 p.m., in case he has any fans on the list. The ticket will give you admittance to both tapings. Tapings are held at Sony Music Studios, which are located at 460 W. 54th Street (between 9th and 10th Aves.). If you attended any of the West 54th Sessions tapings, it's the same studios. You can get tickets for the taping of Paula's show (or those of the other currently scheduled acts) by going to: http://www.hardrocklive.com/ and click on Promotions. Once the Promotions screen loads up, scroll to the third section down (They Make It Rock, We Make It Live) and follow the "tapings" hyperlink. There you will find the current schedule of shows and a hyperlink to email for tickets. Follow the directions on the page and someone from the studio will call you to get your name, etc. You have the choice of picking up the tickets or having them waiting for you at the door. There is a very generous limit of 4 tickets per person. I attended Paula's first Hard Rock Live taping and it was pretty cool. Not really a full concert (Paula only did 6 or 7 songs as compared to Jewel's 15 or 16 songs), but still enjoyable. A bit of advice if you decide to attend.... My old roommate and I were the first on line at that taping and we ended up sitting in the back section of the studio, way off to the right. They certainly weren't bad seats. I mean, the whole studio probably holds about 200 people. But still, I would recommend trying to get on line somewhere between the middle and end of the line. It seemed that they sat the best seats last and so all of those folks at the end of the line who showed up late got the best seats. Some of them even got to go sit up on the stage, hanging off the faux scaffolding. Something to consider, anyway. :) Enjoy!! Peace. For us in the midwest, there is Meijer, who will be selling it this evening at 12:01 A.M.!!! For other 24-hour places, maybe try calling them to see if they are doing the same. I just might not get to sleep this evening at all! Even with the bad reviews going around, I have hope that my eclectic musical tastes will help me swallow this Paula sound!
