phil left towards the end of the last tour to deal with some personal stuff,
but when i hung out with him before the cincinnati show in april, he said
he'd be back as tour manager when she hit the road again. from what i
could communicate with him, there's a lot of mutual respect between he 
and paula, so i don't think there's any bad blood or anything.

i emailed phil sometime during the spring, but haven't heard anything.
perhaps he's just not online right now or maybe he's not at home in
massachusetts. who knows.

i like the photo! i can't wait to hear the new album. it's not the first time
paula's pissed off the Right, though. wasn't she involved with zero 
population growth? i believe that caused a bit of stink among the Right.
