The Lilith Fair staple will tentatively enter a New York recording studio in March, according to a source at Warner Bros. Records. The new album, her third for Imago/Warner Bros., may possibly surface in late fall, but nothing is on the schedule at this time. Cole has not yet chosen a producer for the album. Meanwhile, This Fire, which didn't take off until a year after its release, has sold over 2 million copies, many of which were probably purchased by devout Dawson's Creek fans (the show was a major catalyst in the success of "I Don't Want to Wait"). -- Kevin Raub Peace.
