[Kenneth R Carpenter Subject: (harbinger) Stormy Weather '98 - Benefit for the Walden Woods Project -- GOOD NEWS!! Hey, Harbinger!! Here's an update on the Stormy Weather CD I mentioned a month or so ago. My boyfriend just called me to tell me that he got a copy of the Stormy Weather CD from AT&T a few days ago for being a valued customer. I haven't gotten to hear the CD yet (and won't until tomorrow night --- ARGH!!!), but here is the track listing: Almost Blue - Gwen Stefani You've Changed - Paula Cole But Beautiful - Shawn Colvin Good Guy - Trisha Yearwood Is That All There Is? - Sandra Bernhard Good Morning Heartache - Sheryl Crow They Can't Take That Away From Me - Natalie Cole At Last - Stevie Nicks Gloomy Sunday - Bjork Stormy Weather - Joni Mitchell I'll be getting the CD tomorrow, so if someone else hasn't already reviewed Paula's contribution by that time, I'll drop a line to let you know how it is. From what I learned from Peter Erskine and Vincent Mendoza (two of the people who worked on the production end of this CD), it will first be made available through AT&T as a promotional item only available to their valued customers. After that, it will be released commercially. Hope I can wait 'til tomorrow night... ;^) Peace. Hi Kenn! *extremely jealous that you will have a copy of the Stormy Weather CD* It sounds like it will be wonderful, I can't wait to hear a new song from Paula. Let us know what your impressions are as soon as you can. (thinking to self) "Hmmm, I have AT&T ... why didn't I get one?"
