I just wanted to let you know there is a place where you can find the name and song title to most all of the songs from each episode of Dawson's Creek. It is kinda sad when they only show you the songs by the artists who are already fairly big but this site shows almost everyone. It has links to samples of the song on the show and is a great resource for music lovers who watch Dawson's as I know many of the listers do. Any I am off to search for some other great music... I can't believe they used a song by Trina Hamlin - - she is so unknown, and her album is self-released. Someone on the show has good ears. I wonder if there's a similar site for music from "Felicity" and "Charmed" shows which display similar tastes in music. A Heather Nova song showed up in "Felicuty" once, very effectively. I'm still amazed that a snippet of Berh Orton was used in "Millennium" recently. There are some hip people working in TV. BTW, in case anyone was wondering, the theme to "Providence," the Beatles chestnut "In My Life," is sung by Chantal Kreviazuk. For trivia buffs, it's produced by Peter Asher, whom you may recall was half of Peter and Gordon ("World Without Love," "Lady Godiva")and is the brother of Jane Asher, Paul McCartney's girlfriend back in the Mod days. Now you know. * * Program Note: Lucinda Williams on SNL, Bill Murray host. For all of you unfortunate to not have seen her (99.9% of Americans) here's your chance. Not the same as a full concert, of course, as she tends to do so many encores it's really another set - and I mean 8, 10, even 11 songs once. But still . . .
