These are probably lights which 'interact' with the music operate as well as from the control board. Colored gels changing, patterns projected, stroboscopic effects, full 360 spin both axes, all in synch with the changes in the music. Depending on the dance clubs you frequent (if any), you may have seen cheaper versions of the tour-quality lights. These are often (and most successfully) operated within parameters programmed from the control board. That is, if they're anything like the 'architectural' ones I've seen at trade shows. Yeah, it was me. And, hell yes.... I'm chompin' at the bit for new Happy music!!! >> I have it on good authority (the demi-goddess herself) that it will be >> released August 11. Happy the person completely betrays Happy the musician and lyricist. The majority of her songs vary from dark and brooding organic electronica to airy-fairy peace-and-love moonbeam stuff. Many people would probably expect her to be some kind of cliche like a whacked out granola girl from the west coast who dresses in black and comments on the color of your aura when she meets you. Fortunately, that's not the case at all. Happy is surprisingly funny and as sane as any of the rest of us. She's also very down to earth and kind to people in much the same way Paula is. Very cool person and a woman with one of the most unique sounds in music today. And that voice!! Oy-vay! Check out her other stuff, Steve!! _The Keep_ is one of my favorite Happy albums mainly because of all of the live and rare stuff Happy put on there (the live versions of "Temporary and Eternal" and "Save Our Souls" are definitely songs that are so beautiful they can make me cry), but that earlier stuff (especially the albums _Rhodes I & 2_ and _Warpaint_) is terrific! :^) Peace.
