Subject: Re: (harbinger) Paula's Tour Schedule I wonder why neither Warner Bros nor Pollstar have all of Paula's concerts listed? I know of two definite concerts in the Boston area that are not on the list, and I wonder if there are others. Paula will be at Great Woods, MA on May 30 for the Kiss 108 concert with others. She will be on her own at Hampton Beach, NH on July 28th. This concert is of course my choice of all those in the Boston area this summer, and I hope to finally get a chance to see her do the "La Vie en Rose" encore number, since she started it just after the Paradise concert last year, and hasn't done it at any of the 3 concerts I have seen sinc, as they were all multi-performers like Lilith, and I assume she won't do it at Lilith or HORDE this year either. I am really looking forward to her whole new show that those of you in the rest of the country have been seeing- hopefully she'll do "Free". I have tickets in hand for the July 28th concert in NH so I wonder how come the websites are still saying she is going to be in Toronto then? Even SUPERWOMAN that she is, I don't think she could pull off both on the same night. Astraltravel maybe? Makes me wonder also if there might be other conflicts on the posted schedule. You know how we have this paula cole mailing list where we all talk about how cool she is, her kickass music, etc. etc. She obviously has to know about this list since Phil's on it. Does anybody besides me ever wonder what she thinks about having a whole entire mailing list with a lot of people (i'm not sure how many but i'm sure it's quite a bit) subscribed to it who thinks that she epitomizes coolness? I wouldn't think it goes to her head =) Anyone wish to share? kT ~~my page o' nothing http://student.monterey.edu/stohlmannkatheri/world/ not for those who are easily offended (hmm i wonder what that means...) I've been waiting so long to hear them and it is sweetbittersweet to listen to him (albeit for 20 seconds at a time) sing. When I saw Jeff perform in Denver about three years ago, I had my belly to the stage looking up at him, and his raw passion and intensity was indelibly inscribed in my memory of him. But I walked away feeling that he was not long for this world, sensing that his exposed nerve sensitivity would presuppose a long stay; he was just from somewhere else. JB was my favorite musician. So what Mary Guibert, his mother said, really touched me, and brought tears that echo the sentiment that travels between the worlds. His favorite moments in life were when he was delivering his music to his fans, those people who were now weeping and mourning his passing all over the world...playing Grace full blast over and over because that's all they had of him to listen to. This album, and the ones that will follow are my gift to those fans, present and future. I believe with all my heart that my son will live among us as long as his songs are being played and sung. If I have anything to do with it, that will be for a long, long time to come. > May 29th marks the one-year anniversary of Jeff's death.
