Is any one else going to the Aug 20 show in Milwaukee? Paula is definitely going to be there. I am upset though because Dar Williams will not be returning to Milwaukee Lilith Fair. Also in Milwaukee there isnot going to be any rappers, R&B or hip hop stars (Erykah Badu, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifa....). I thought they were trying to make each show more diverse. That's how I began my quest for ideas for my mix tape........but since I didn't have several of the songs listed, I ended up going through my 800+ cds manually checking the track listings.......and peeking at lyrics here and there.... We are planning a road trip from Detroit just so we can go to a LF with Paula on the bill. We got really lucky last year because she was on the bill in this area so we got to see her a few times. This year, it looks like we have to travel! That's OK... we always wanted to see The Mall of America, and we do love travelling! We are curious to know what Canterbury is like. My favorite outdoor venue so far is without a doubt Blossom Music Center near Cleveland (we'll be at that Lilith, too). The lawn is wonderfully kept up, wide and gently rising. It makes Pine Knob look like the Sahara or something worse. Pine Knob (near Detroit) is very steep, there's hardly any grass, especially in the areas where most people sit; in fact, it's hard, dry, and even stone-y in spots. It just sucks. Anyway, if anyone else on the list is going, write us! Maybe we can meet up!
