One thing to keep in mind is that the crews are doing what they are told by the director. Yea, I know the cameraman has some leeway on where he goes and what he does, but when he gets in a good position for a shot, and the director likes it then he can't move until the director tells him to. I guess I feel that it was rude and unprofessional of Paula to go off at the cameraman when he was doing his job. I'd bet money that the director was telling the cameraman that was in Paula's face something like, "Great shot 2, zoom in slow now, closer... closer... closer... GREAT! Thats it! Hold there." in that camerman's ear. I'm sure it would have been just as effective if she stopped the concert, and just walked off the set and let the director have an earfull, and then appologized to the audience. Now on the other hand, maybe she was flipping off the director via the camera, and not actually flipping off the cameraman!?! Also the comment about paying to see a performance, well the broadcasting company has paid for that performance too. That's why they get that 3 feet around the stage for their camera crew. Yea, I know, they shouldn't be rude to the other people in attendance, but I think if you checked you'd find out that most of the time that they are in the way it is because they were told to be there. Way to go Paula, band, and Phil. :) About what Courtney mentioned: Paula seeming shy in the interview with Rosie. I felt the complete opposite, I thought Paula seemed very comfortable and like she was having a good time with Rosie. Paula does seem like a somewhat shy person, she even described herself this way (Charlie Rose interview). I think the main thing to remember is that Paula is such a sincere person, she doesn't really seem like she'll just talk to talk. She will say something when she has something she wants to say. You know? Also too, the Paula Cole that we are all familiar with as a performer is quite the bit more outspoken than everyday life Paula. She really emerges and becomes herself in the music.
