Yes there are some of the posts I do not enjoy, but hey who says that everyone enjoys reading mine. Part of the good thing about this list has been learning about new artists, and getting to know the people who post..getting an idea of their sense of humor and personality. That is what makes this list enjoyable...it is more than a recitation of facts, it is kinda like a close knit group, almost a family thing. Oh, and if you do not like tons of irrelevant things being posted to the list, then do not bother posting something useless yourself, and something that will in fact elicit numerous responses and opinions, that will not have much to do with Paula Cole. The format of this list is much the same as I've ever known it (back to the ecto days) and the gang that hangs here is quite comfortable with the content and direction that it has maintained for all these many days. I'm serious Matt, get a mail list package, set it up, advertise it and moderate it the way you see best. That's the beauty of the internet, you can do it your way. I actually saw the original Blues Brothers perform live on SNL (sheesh, I'm old.) Personally speaking, the new Blues Brothers (as with the old BB) is a strictly commercial vehicle designed to package and market a retro-hip product to a new generation of consumers who are just now coming into their own as a purchasing force. I certainly hope that Paula doesn't play piano, clarinet or finger cymbals with them... although stranger things have happened.
