First, the background of the poster is light blue with "Paula Cole" in dark blue letters and "this fire" in red letters. Paula is sitting on a wooden chair with her arms crossed. Her blue jacket hangs on the back of the chair. She wears a blue sleeveless blouse and blue pants. She has a yellow rose on her lap. Finally, she's bare foot. This poster is a promotional poster by WB and it says it's not for sale. I think this is the poster that hangs at record retailers and also at concert at small club venues. The first single is "Torn," an acoustic driven track with a joyous beat mixed with meloncholy lyrics. I was surprised that the whole album was just as interesting with lots of different styles. (Unfortunately, a lot of bands write one hit and the rest of the album sounds like the same song only not as good.) Standout tracks for me are: Torn Intuition Smoke Impressed But I enjoy the whole album.
