I live in Eugene, Oregon -- which has a radio station that likes to play stuff that other "mainstream" or "AAA" stations won't touch. I've heard Paula here on campus radio (KWVA - University of Oregon,) since 1994... don't know why it would be different anywhere else except maybe because the campus radio stations aren't numbers/demographics-driven.
