Hi. I should've asked this a month or so ago, but here goes. I saw Paula in Nashville on 11-11 and here opening song blew me away. I have no idea what the name of it is, if it is original, or if not who done it originaly. The lyric I remember had something to do with your soul (?). If anyone has any idea, I 'preciate it. If she played a CLARINET in it (Which I'm sure she did) it is called SUWANEE JO. She opened the Vancouver show with it too. It's from the BLUE IN THE FACE SOUNDTRACK, and it is SO good live (I don't care for it on the CD though) It is just so dark and eerie... It talks about SOUL in it.... I thought a few of you may be interested in recent & future activity updates. All the best, Alan (aka MrBB) 1998 itineraries are still being determined but here's the basic plan in general. January will basically be downtime. Jewel will take a much deserved breather from any major activities other than preparing her book of poetry for publication & possibly some studio sessions. February will primarily be devoted to prep-work for the movie "To Live On" which is scheduled to begin filming in Mid March & will continue off & on for several months. Jewel's Poetry Book will be published & hopefully available by late June or early July 1998. Her new album is now tentatively scheduled for release by Atlantic in late September 1998. That's the basics. Now on to some specifics about other things of interest: Jewel & Lenedra recorded "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" (or just "Rudy" as Jewel calls it) along with The Boys Choir Of Harlem. It's a really swinging doo-wop version & you need not wait for that because it's being released now! The CD is called "Tis The Season" by The Boys Choir Of Harlem. It's on Unencumbered/1027th Street Records Label catalogue number 2304-2. The cassette is catalogue number 2304-4. "Tis The Season" is also available as a limited edition 2 record set (featuring an extra disc of TBCOH). The two record set can only be ordered direct & I'll find out that info & pass it on ASAP. The CD & cassette will be available in stores but you can also order that direct as well. Also, speaking of interesting releases, Jewel & Lenedra have become enamored with a South American classical guitarist & amazing singer named Andres Condon. AmyJo & I met Andres in Boston on the Papillon Tour & he's an incredibly nice guy. I haven't the info on his CD but will try to get it for you, soon. You may want to search for it on the web. Both Jewel & Lenedra highly recommend it. And no major update is complete without something mind blowing to include, so here goes......Jewel will perform to the largest audience of her entire career in January. Yep.....She'll be performing The National Anthem at the upcoming SUPERBOWL in San Diego!! - ------------------------------ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe harbinger Digest, further unsub and problems FAQ at: http://www.netaxs.com/~jgreshes/lists/harbinger.html For This Fire kinda-lyrics write Riphug@aol.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 Dec 1997 23:17:25 EST From: Detour97 Subject: Re: (harbinger) AMF Music Charts address I forgot to include this.
