It is with regret that I announce, due to illness, the remainder of our tour dates in 1997 are cancelled. Rest assured that this was not an easy decision and Paula plans to reschedule all of the cancelled shows sometime in February and March. There will definitely be no change to this announcement. All of the crew and musicians are already on flights to their respective homes all across the US ! At this time, there is no way to tell you exactly when a particular show will be rescheduled, but as soon as schedules start being planned, I will make a post to the group. For those of you who didn't know, Paula has a snail mail address for cards and letters if anyone would like to write. Her address is: Paula Cole P O Box 600645 Newtonville MA 02160-0006 Sorry to miss many of my good friends in the upcoming weeks. Have a great Holiday Season and we'll be better than ever in 1998 ! First off, my name is Joseph Tremblay, and I'm a musician (bassist, more specifically) from Toronto. I first heard Paula when I bought Peter Gabriel's "Secret World Live" album, and was completely blown away by Paula's voice and presence (I've been a huge fan of female singer/songwriter's ever since I happened across a young upstart named Sarah McLachlan in 1990). After regaining my composure (yeah, my first taste of Paula's voice kind of blew me away), I imeediately went on a search for any solo albums she might have. Lucky, lucky me, I got Harbinger. To make a long story even longer, skip ahead to April of this year, and after years of waiting and waiting for Paula to play Toronto (she might have before, I just didn't know about it), I finally got the chance to see her live. There's only one word I can think of to describe that show - the biggest, most humungous, abnormally large "WOW" imagineable. Well, that's the story of my life as it relates to Paula Cole ... thanks to all those who read the entire message.
