Great show!!! She was totally wonderful. There were not that many people there. We were= very close to the stage. And she (Beth) is SO cute. She was having so muc= h fun up there. She seemed so thrilled to have so many people at her show a= nd all loving her. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get lyrics to her album. None= in the liner notes. Has anyone transribed and posted them? Hi everyone. I'm Dan, and I don't know where I'd rank myself on the Paula Cole fan scale... probably somewhere around the middle... Definitely not fanatic, and definitely not at the uninterested end either though...I don't know how I missed Paula's music up until it went T40, since it obviously is a evolutionary/revolutionary step that follows in the line of Kate Bush (I'm a big fan there...) and other performers before her of this type of music. Anyway, the reason I subscribed was to ask this general question... When I listen to "I don't want to wait" the song seems to scream for a second harmonized part sung from the point of view of the womans husband. Has anyone else noticed this? The story and the images this song build for me are very vibrant and clear, but the question keeps going through my mind, "What is her husbands story!?" I keep seeing a song from her husbands point of that could equally stand on its own, as well as be mixed with the original song using a similar melody... What does anyone else think? Desdemona is Othello's wife, who, through misunderstandings (and Iago's schemings), is branded as unfaithful to Othello. There's a decent movie of the play, starring Irene Jacob (Desdemona), Laurence Fishburne (Othello), and Kenneth Branagh (Iago). I found it to be called Cullen Center. It's at 1600 Smith Street. The # is (713) 951-6100. The directions I found are coming from 45 S, exit Main Street and head northeast for .8 miles to the Cullen Center. These directions don't mention Smith Street but I bet it is pretty easy to find once one is on Main. Maybe a Houstonite could check these?? Thanks and hope I helped!
