And to let people know (those of you who are talking AT me but not TO me), my point wasn't that rap/hip hop is worthless music--to each his/her own, I always say. But I really think if I'm in a particular mood I don't want it spoiled with something completely different. I mean, would you enjoy hearing Paula, Skid Row, and then Lucianno Pavarotti in a row? (Of course, there's one of you out there that's going to say "Yes," but really). I own them all...just don't want to hear them in a row, ya know? I just finished reading the welcome letter for this list, and it says to write and say HI! So, I am. Since I am new here, all I really have to say right now is that last nights show at the Luthur Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, CA was great!! I was told to be prepared to be blown away, but even with that warning, I was still amazed by how great Paula is live! And it was great seeing her after the show too.
