I have had the same boyfriend, Jon, for three years; he asked me out April 26. I am from New York and he is from Worcester. Anyway, let's just say that Jon and I have been to the New England fairgrounds (Big E) and New York hotel room. Perhaps one day we'll make it to Colorado or Chicago.... Anyway, if anyone is like why is she telling me this, listen to Oh John on Harbinger.... Freaky stuff. Since people are sharing their "Paula" moments..I figured I would chip in to the discussion! As long time list people know, Jay (Paula's Drummer and friend) was one of my High School Band students..and we have stayed very close. I have met Paula several times now, and she is always courteous, friendly and very appreciative of the fact that I had something to do with Jays "drumming" past. But, I must commend Paula's Mom, Stephanie, who is a wonderful human being (and has obviously taught her daughter well). At a radio show concert in the Boston Area..I was hanging around backstage with Jay and "the guys", when Stephanie offered to take a picture of Jay and I! It was great, and when it was developed, she sent it to me, with a wonderful note, saying how important Music Educators are, and what an important role I play. Needless to say, this was very touching to me, and I will treasure that note. And to follow up, the first thing Paula said to me at Lilith Faire was, "Did you get the picture my Mom sent you??"..like I said, a complete class act! And...I'm sure I don't have to mention what a wonderful person Jay is!! (spoken like a proud teacher!! :) ) Paula R. - ------------------------------ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe harbinger Digest, further unsub and problems FAQ at: http://www.netaxs.com/~jgreshes/lists/harbinger.html For This Fire kinda-lyrics write Riphug@aol.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 01 Oct 1997 00:43:35 -0400 (EDT) From: Chris Povie Subject: Re: (harbinger) about the harbinger list and yes about paula :) oft-made Harbinger goofs: "there" : denotes place, as in 'There is a kittycat.' Please, no flames to the tune of "Who are *you* to correct *me*?" or "What's the big deal if I spell lousy?" because if you want to make a point and/or command respect, you must first use the language properly.
