I've been trying >hard to figure it out, but it's just beyond me. 'BaM' is pretty straight-foward actually. It's about, essentially, a "beautiful fucked up man". In other words, the person Sarah is referring to in the song is beautiful, popular, mysterious, intriguing, etc; etc. All those things that are supposed to make people cool. But, the point is, that in trying so hard to be all those things, in trying to be "cool", you lose yourself. You lose your identity and your emotions. Perhaps even your ability to relate to others on a "human level". Hope this helps. This is actually several interviews kinda glued together. I've been wanting to sub to this list for a while now but had never got around to it. I am also on the Sarah FTE list. I have seen Paula twice in concert. One was 2 years ago. and that is when I discovered her talent. My second time was at the Lilith fair in NY. seeing her sing there was truly a religious experince. It took days to get it out of my mind. Paula is the best female preformer in my opinion and I'm sure a lot of yours. I am patiently waiting for her to do a concert in montreal. My main reason for subbing to the list is to find out all the Paula news, like concert announcements etc... I am also making a web page in her honor. Well I look forward to reading your posts!
