I think you put it wonderfully and succinctly. I thoroughly agree with your assessment of the song and the situation today. I, too, went to the Museum of Tolerance, cried thru most of it. But when I got to those two doors, there was no way I could even conceiveably begin to go thru the "free" door. I'd like to THINK that I'm not prejudiced in any way, but I think it's naive to think anyone is. Even if it's not racial or ethnic prejudice, we each still have some. I love Harbinger precisely for "Hitler's Brothers," "Our Revenge," and "Woman's Hands." I think all three speak to the atmosphere of subordination and prejudice that we, in a "civilized" (whatever that means) society, still practice and/or encounter. I truly believe that even if Paula didn't have the incredible voice that she does, I'd still love this album for what it says and stands for. We need more thinkers like her, who are not afraid of showing us who we really are, what we're capable of, and that, despite it all, we can overcome if we choose to.
