[CHRIS POVIE Subject: (harbinger) paula posters Hey all -- I've "advertised" this before on the list but I still have posters left so I thought I'd tell everyone again. I have a bunch of Paula posters that a friend gave me -- she was supposed to play a holidays concert last December in Washington DC but it was cancelled, and my friend works there so she gave me the posters. They're not *huge* posters but the type you'd expect to see, surprise surprise, in a small venue on the walls, you know, the kind people steal, about 1.5' x 2' in size. Paula is wearing a black tank top and black jeans and has a defiant look on her face, the background is a grayish street. I have a bunch so I just want to share them with other Paula fans, especially since they don't seem to sell Paula posters anywhere. I'm asking $5, which covers postage (in a tube so they don't get bent of course). If anyone is interested please e-mail me privately. Cowboys gone? as my first introduction to Paula Cole. I found it so charged with passion I nearly wept! From songs with harsh emotion such as Mississippi and Neitzsche's Eyes to the delicate hush, hush, hush with that wonderful repeating chord progression I find the songs have already worked their way under my skin. This is the best discovery I have made in years! The only problem is that to my great irritation This Fire is the only cd to have been released here in the UK and I need more! How does the previous stuff compare, and can anyone recommend an exporter that won't stripe me up on post and packing? Your help will be appreciated.
