Watch TV on How We Quit the Forest always reminds me of a family friend who 
committed suicide when I was in the third grade.... he was a tv weatherman.  
Lines like:

"I sit and watch T.V./I see only me,/Though I look for you there."
"Were you canceled?"
"I watch a re-run/It looks a lot like you"
"One star lost a family/One family lost a star"

Always remind of him.
