Be careful please, that stuff sucks...not too much left/right movement with the wrist, but up/down is okay...make your elbow and shoulder take care of the movement. Get sensual with it like you are stroking your cat or something...so it is something you like instead of a chore. As for the bow, see if you can find a carbon fiber one that isn't too expensive. They are way lighter that wood and even stronger...so you should have a much easier time with the "light as a feather" approach. If you can't find carbon fiber try fiberglass. If all else fails, go shopping for wood ones and test them for weight...get the lightest one you can afford. Also try different resins. Get one with a lot of bite if the one you have is too smooth across the strings; then you won't have to press down as hard. ------------------------------ End of goths-digest V5 #50 **************************
