Subject: cellists?

i was wondering if any of the cellists on this list could give me some words 
of encouragement i've been playing cello for a few years now and i love the 
cello but i just can't seem to really grasp it. did that make sense? anyway i 
was just hoping for some advice from someone who may know where i'm coming 
from or otherwise. anyway is anyone else from l.a. pissed because they missed 
the Lydia Lunch/Dame Darcy play at the knitting factory last night?
