Shauna Rolsten was our guest artist, and she is a fabulous, amazing cellist. If you've never heard of her (don't feel bad, I hadn't really either), you should try and check her out. Her playing is just amazing. The weekend was a lot of fun, it's so nice to play in a big orchestra (and an added bonus when you have a great soloist playing with you!). Shauna's Sat. night recital was awesome. She played several pieces (I can check what they were if anyone really wants to know) and I was completely spellbound. The Sunday morning masterclass was really interesting too, although I missed most of it! Anyway.. the big Raspy news. Here's a couple Melora quotes for you to sum it up: "We are in talks with a nice little label, and it looks like we'll have a new album out in March, and get to do some touring. We are so excited!!!"
