Did it really happen? I was just gonna show up, but then realized it was a long trip ("long" in NYC subway trip "long") for something I wasn't certain about... Did anybody go to the show? Does anyone know if the show even existed?? - -tsylvania ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Mar 2001 23:45:57 -0800 From: -porcelina- Subject: Re: Mumbo Dumbo Hey- The show was in fact real, and apparantly it went well. This is the mini-review given by someone on another Rasp list... he new members are really good. Nana was the one that sang backgrounds on the songs. She has a really nice voice. I like the new line up a lot. They did play some new songs and they played "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd (again). Some other songs they played were Sign of the Zodiac, Rusty the Skatemaker, The New Zero, Diamond Mind and many others. The place was really interesting since it had a warehouse look to it. I really liked it in there. I also got to talk with the band for a little while. I was right in the front of the stage so that was cool as well. The hardest thing to believe was that I actually found the place. I went from Trenton, NJ (where I live) to Manhattan to Brooklyn (train and subway respectively). Melora said that she likes the pictures on Porcy/Melly's site btw..... Our poor site! Anyways, sounded like the show was good!! Wish I could have gone!
