I AM IN LOVE NOW. i'm seriously, you guys, check out this group. also www.hungrylucy.com works. also, some other great serendipitous finds i've had: amaris, walls of jericho, and vitriola. all findable on mp3.com so check them out. ~~Lori ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 8 Aug 2000 23:56:01 EDT From: Nahaliel@aol.com Subject: [goths] NRR - mp3.com ooo, lori.. i'm listening to the track "alfred" now, and it's gorgeous.. i'm utterly addicted to mp3.com.. i was even big enough of a dork to make my own station, cause i'm all about hollering my musical favoritism from the proverbial rooftops.. i can't wait to try out some of your other suggestions! i'd make suggestions, but the list would be too long and too annoying to those gothslistees who don't appreciate our nonrasputina posts. ;) so instead go to my beloved little station and tell me what you think! [see pretentious sig for url] oh wait, i know how to make this on topic...... can i just say that i am positively fuming that rasputina decided to play fez now? when i have a zillion (okay, two or three) places i could crash and the money to actually have a fabulous time, only i am by cursed employment stuck in the wretchedly humid conservative-infested state of virginia for another three weeks? unless i have the wrong date in my mind and theyre really playing like, in mid september.... anyway. fez is great. time cafe (which fez is located under) has the *best* pizza, named, i presume in a feverish moment of unfezlike unhipness, "time pizza." don't be fooled by the dull name. it's divine. love. jennifer members.aol.com/nahaliel stations.mp3.com/catgirl_elocution "and, for the first time in my innocent and confined life, i sensed in myself a potentiality for corruption that took my breath away." Also My Scarlet Life...one of the girls from that band used to post to this very list, including updates on her band as well as Raspy info. They are a great band and seem to be getting on a roll these days. If you use Napster, try downloading "Flowers Cover Your Eyes" by t he Changelings...that ought to do it:-) I have, BTW, heard good things about H ungry Lucy too, so I suppose I will be checking them out soon. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Aug 2000 00:15:00 EDT From: Nahaliel@aol.com Subject: [goths] nrr: too long to be a typo > stations.mp3.com/catgirl_elocution hi, i'm brain dead. it's mp3.com/stations/catgirl_elocution. dur. :\ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 Aug 2000 00:24:45 EDT From: KrodKnid@aol.com Subject: Re: [goths] nrr: too long to be a typo In a message dated 8/9/2000 12:23:51 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Nahaliel@aol.com writes: << hi, i'm brain dead >> It must be an overload of belle noir music:-) ------------------------------ End of goths-digest V4 #35 **************************
