How's that for a list. Or do Rasputina fans not want to hear about bands/artists other than Rasputina? If you don't get the point, ask someone else. Burgundy Wine knows what this mailing list is for. Good job, Burgundy. [1] Hi. I'm fiver. I went to your rasputina page. I'm not that into rasp, but I've heard them and enjoied what I heard. My music interests are what you would call "diverse," and I'm really open to most any kind of music that requires talent to produce. If you're more interested about who I am, I've got a website [ifyoucare]. http://www.angelfire.com/me3/blue13/. go there, but if you do, sign the guestbook, or your visit is wasted to me. > the list has been entirely too silent lately. You're right. I know you don't know me [yet?] but i've got some stories about meeting tool and the melvins, if anyone is interested. happened to be my favorite two bands at the same show, and my friend's mom owned the free press of my city. what luck. > Joydrop yeah, I've seen them. They played here, and I met the band... Seems like they were from canada didn't care TOO much for them... but I'm not that into that sort of thing. > recommendations? lets bring the list Yes. I recommend any melvins CD, (stoner witch, the maggot, or stag, for starters.) The new Entombed SUCKS, System of the Down KICKS ASS, and I Care Because You Do by Aphex Twin is badass. If none of that is your speed, try Masse En Si Mineur BWV, by J. S. Bach. > to a venue thats ALL AGES? I'd be willing to bet that Rasp doesn't play too many shows that AREN'T all ages. Why would they ass-out the majority of their fans? Apparently, that is the end of my post. Fiver. Why would they ass-out the majority of their fans? Actually when Rasputina came to play here in San Diego back in 1998 their show was 18 and up....I was only 17 then so I was really sad. I think sometimes it just has to do with what venue they get booked at. Plus 18 and up shows tend to be a lot better than all ages.
