Granted all religions are naive in one way or another, but I find that it is the most naive. I don't think that I discriminate against Christians. I prefer not to talk to them, but I don't like the fact that they seem to run from the truth of situations. My friend sent me this in an email, and I thought I'd send it alng to you all...the email was entitled "Life in the 1500's" :) Most people didn't have pewter plates, but had trenchers - a piece ofwood with the middle scooped out like a bowl. Trencher were never washedanda lot of times worms got into the wood. After eating off wormytrenchers, they would get "trench mouth." === ...Parting is all we know of heaven and all we need of hell. - -Emily Dickinson ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~ IM:Wyldrose3;ICQ#: 37458937 _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? So now we all know the meaning behind Trench Mouth! That's pretty cool. Does anyone else know any real song interpretations? (I don't mean what you think it's about, I'm talking about based on fact..) Me and my friend (who's on this list) are making a Rasputina page, and are trying to put together a song interpretation page. So, if anyone could let me know... We need interpretations for any songs except - - My Little Shirtwaist Fire - -Transylvanian Concubine - - Mr. E. Leon Rauis - - The Donner Party - - Brand New Key - - Howard Hughes - -Dig Ophelia - - Kate Moss - - The New Zero - - Rose K - - DwarfStar - - Trenchmouth - - MayFly - - Christian Soldiers - - Diamond Mind - - How We Quit the Forest (unless you have something other than it being about Rasputina) Thanks a lot!! ~Eva ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 May 1999 22:33:13 EDT From: ImAZeroSP@aol.com Subject: definition of Trench Mouth trench mouth (noun) First appeared 1918 1 : VINCENT'S ANGINA 2 : VINCENT'S INFECTION Vin*cent's angina (noun) [Jean Hyacinthe Vincent died 1950 French bacteriologist] First appeared circa 1903 : Vincent's infection in which the ulceration has spread to surrounding tissues (as of the pharynx and tonsils) -- called also trench mouth Vincent's infection (noun) First appeared circa 1922 : a progressive painful disease of the mouth that is marked esp. by dirty gray ulceration of the mucous membranes, spontaneous hemorrhaging of the gums, and a foul odor to the breath and that is associated with the presence of large numbers of a bacillus (Fusobacterium nucleatum syn.
