I took note of part of the earlier discussion about similar bands and 
bought an Apocoliptica cd. I love it! Could some of you refresh my memory

still a band as such?  are they just taking a break and having babies or
have we lost rasputina to inter-member acrimony?  

does anyone know for sure?  can we contact their managment?  seems like
those rumors of splitsville killed off what discussion there was on this
list.

   I just got a posting from the Swans mailing list that says Julia is
part of the new Michael Gira project, Angels of Light.
which could simply mean she's doing that as well as Rasputina.

Obviously, if there was anything they wanted the public to know, we'd know
about by now.

I won't believe anything til I hear it from a reliable source. grapevine
nonesense is never right. it's like that party game... Telephone?... where
one person whispers something to the person next to them  and it gets
passed on until the last person has to tell what it was that was said.
how often is that correct?

every time this subject comes up, i get the feeling that people are more
concerned with any possible _rumors_ than they are with the band itself.
It's really not fair to anyone.

That's basically what a rumor is, I would think.  You can't really believe that everything you hear is completely correct until you hear it from the original source because it's bound to get twisted somewhere.  
Anyway.  I think that nothing's really going on and hopefully we'll hear something from them soon.
