We kept on talking about it, and then when Julia was actually smiling in a photo she got after the phone, my friend was shocked. I didn't think much of it because I haven't seen her smiling in any other photo. I can tell you this though: I was watching the different parts that each cellist had, and Julia's was the least interesting (lots of fast notes on one pitch, filling out chords). Melora does lead vocals, and has what basically amount to cello solos. The other player sang and had all of the melody (not fair, esp. since she's temporary). So Julia didn't even sing, barely did anything (exaggerating, but still). I can understand why she doesn't want to play anymore. It's too bad, she's so pretty, and looks to be a very good cellist. I give up on all this. I can't find the "official" shirts, and it seems that no one knows about the "violin d ingres" shirts, so I guess that I'm going to make my own. I'm either going to use one of the photos that my photographer friend took at the phili show, or some composite computer image of my own design. I guess that if anyone wants one, I can probably make a couple. I don't feel like making a silkscreen, so I guess that I'm going to have the copy shop nearby do it. If you are really dying to have one, write me, and I'll let you know when I get closer to being done (I'll send you a pic and everything). It's going to be super-expensive though. You're going to have to send me a shirt and an envelope and money for postage, plus paying the copyshop. Maybe I can just have transfers made. That would be a lot easier on everyone, but still expensive. In other words: it's probably not worth it, but if you can't live without one, I suppose it's possible.
