It traces a family through the 20th century, all are into music in someway or another. At the begining this little boy and his mother flee Russia and come to the US. Well, one short short moment in the movie it shows a factory on fire...this was in the 1920's and the mother was a seamstres. I read some about the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and the information went along with the movie...so the incident was probably based on the Shirtwaist Fire?... [Dupin] Well, you have met one now ;) I like both manson and Rasputina, but i am the exception not the rule...i would have been very offened if i had gone to any of the concerts at which Rasputina had things thrown at them and would have personally killed anyone who hurt them in anyway...I do like Rasputina a lot more than i ever liked manson, just my two cents. (there was a brief banter over this on their bbs.) ho ho, i replied. and manson would be nothing without bowie, depeche mode, alice cooper, trent reznor..marilyn monroe, etc. i digress. anyways, the person said that rasputina "accepts" this as fact (that they owe all to manson). and i'm all like, whatever dude. ?...... i certainly never heard anything resembling that sentiment come out of their mouths. m. m. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 22:12:18 EST From: GothGoil@aol.com Subject: manson and rasputina i saw rasputina open up for manson in orlando, florida, on april 15th, 1997. a friend of mine named rabies kept calling them "fat bitches", but i don't remember anyone throwing anything at them..... i've seen manson once since then, but not rasputina... ~*christina*~ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Jan 1999 00:45:13 -0800 From: Thomas Victor Subject: Re: Article on Rasputina in Strings Magazine michele s hardeman wrote: > > Message text written by "Mari Kacey" > >Together, the three are best known among goth fans of the Marilyn > Manson ilk,< > > hm....i take offense to this...i actually have as of yet to meet dual fans. > from what i heard, the spookykids did not appreciate rasputina on that > tour, and went as far as to throw things at the ladies. > anyone?
