I know there are not a lot of sites abour Rasputina on the web, but I think that if at least, we link ourselves together, people will discover Rasputina. I'm going to send an e-mail much like this one to people who own a site about Rasputina and see, with the answers I will recieve, if this project is worth it. Please E-mail me @ peusmurf@hotmail.com for comments, suggestions, anything and tell me if your interested to have your site in this rasputina webring and if you know other good rasputina sites. Any help will be welcome. Thanks for reading this. There is an article on our web site which kind of answers that...but I can't find it right now. Paraphrased, she had trouble writing the spoken word tracks for the albums because it's hard to write a spoken song that people can listen to over and over again without getting bored. The spoken segments for concerts are easier to write, Melora has said, because they are a one-time only deal. The point of the tracks? You got me. Chris, ears still ringing from....a Barenaked Ladies concert (of all things!) ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Here's a definite must get album for '99: The Mediaeval Baebes- "Salva Nos" The Mediaeval Baebes is composed of 12 women with the voices of angels. Together they sing folk songs and lullabies of the 13th through 16th century. A few songs are in French, German and I believe Latin. It istruly the music of the gods. thats all. michelle ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Dec 98 08:54:36 -0800 From: sung@mactechs.com (Sung Kokko) Subject: remove remove Sung Kokko MacTechs, Inc. I'd have to agree--5'7-5'9. And as far as Julia goes, even though I met her for only a few minutes, she is very striking and even more beautiful then the pictures make her out to be. Shes not really bitchy (as far as I could tell), but as Melora said that julia always lookes really bored. She also told me that julia could get a gift that would be the coolest thing in the entire universe and she'll say "thanks." but she really will like it... I guess that shes just not one for emotions. Since she was sitting right there as melora told me all of this, she just smirked. :) Thornia "i think YOU'RE a queer!" ;) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Dec 1998 14:03:45 EST From: Wrygel@aol.com Subject: Re: Melora height In a message dated 12/30/98 3:13:16 AM Central Standard Time, LeechCraft@aol.com writes: > ok here is how it goes down, > i met rasputina on october 23 at the pontiac grille in philly. i am fondly > looking back at the pictures and she is *about* 5'8" or > two>. > i would like add that they are really nice. julia was nice and stuff but i > sensed a feeling of bitchieness. she was cool and all . but you know how it > is. i think she was like sick. i dunno. i am rambling and you are gonan > think > i am weird so i am gonna go. > -tom- Woah, 5' 8", I had the notion that she was petite and short and not over 5' 2". Maybe it's those stage clothes. Another thing, I always got Carpella and Ag mixed up, to me they look identical, that * is * Carpella that plays on Ether, correct? That photo of her looks exactly like a photo of Ag,I thought they were the same people. Julia is very distinguishable and then sometimes I also get Melora and Ag mixed up because the blonde hair, it's so confusing. She's very nice. She's the one who told me that Agneiszka was pregnant and thats why she wasnt touring with them. I also met Nana, the one taking her place (temporarily, i guess), she's very nice as well. Does anyone know where she's from, she had a european accent, I just couldn't tell where she was from.
