I've already opened all of my gifts (it was technically after midnight therefore x-mas..) and have gotten some wonderful stuff. My one artist friend made me a beautiful melora abstract thing. Its hard to explain, the head of a doll with long blonde hair and feathers (like the promotional flat picture on the color side.) and instead of an actualy body and corset its the body of a cello instead. Theres no lets, just a big billowy skirt. When I get a chance to hook up my camera to the computer I'll take pictures of it because its so wonderful. Thats probably the best gift I've gotten... I love hand-made things. I also got clothes, $, new cd player--the usual x-mas shit : ) As far as all the flaming on the list goes I've got just a few things to say. 1) mopnglo has left the list so I guess theres no reason to bitch at her for anything because she isn't reading list mail. 2) I want a rasputina shirt! 3) Melora likes candy-canes :) Yours, Thornia ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Dec 1998 10:07:56 -0700 (MST) From: Contessa_Carmilla@yahoo.com Subject: A Musical Greeting Card for You! I find it very interesting to see the kinds of bands y'all listen to. I don't recall ever hearing Switchblade Symphony before I came here i very much agree! i have learned about so many cool new bands and things like that because the people on this list are likely to share common interests and stuff. this group of people on here are some of the coolest i have met online.....you guys are awesome and happy holidays to you all! =) also, feel free to IM me if you have the instant messenger. my screen name is Rasputeena. I personally would just like to say thank you very much for the greeting card :) Carol of the Bells is one of my favorite Christmas type songs...I can play an Intermidiate version of it almost perfectly on the piano.
