It's a bit too *hard* and *odd*; and in the period of time spent waiting for it to come out, hoping, dreaming of how it would be like: daresay I that it's quite a disappointment. Where are the liltling melodies? Why all this rough-hewn emotion? What's the message here? What's going on in the camp of the Three Ladies? I sought a softer, wistful romanticism; and I can't find it anywhere in "the Forest". A riddle there: the "Forest" being the fresh innocence of the first cd, and now that they've gone a bit around and shown people what they are -- they have this *new* sound?! Picked up "Lux Vivens" (Jocelyn Montgomery with David Lynch), in Latin: dark, moody, portentious... like a storm coming in the waning of the day. And looking forward to my copy of "Salva Nos", by this Euro-mutt-pack of femmes, the [Medieaval Baebes]. Am faintly excited, since I spent a good part of the day looking at their webpage. The lay-out looks good, pictures of the Baebes in "costume" look even better! Now let's see if we've stumbled upon something here. Has anybody else (SaraLeeLucas, esp.) from this list heard the cds I mentioned? I'd love to hear from you =) And NeVeR, SeRaFeNe ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 06 Nov 1998 13:16:46 PST From: "SeRa FeNe" Subject: off-topic/noT RasPuTiNa :Goths, =) Has anybody an opinion of Miranda SeX Garden? :S ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Nov 1998 18:04:31 EST From: GothGoil@aol.com Subject: Re: unearthed musicana In a message dated 11/6/98 2:20:00 PM Central Standard Time, lansuyar@hotmail.com writes: << Finally got HWQtF, and I can't say that I like it any better than their initial work.
