The New Zero 2. Dig Ophelia------Im not sure if they played this, i couldnt hear what she said very well and i was under some kind of spell, not believing they were really there. if anyone knows for sure....please let me know:) 3. DwarfStar 4. Things I'm Gonna Do 5. Sign of the Zodiac 6. MayFly 7. Rose K. 8. Diamond Mind 9. TrenchMouth 10. Dried Up, Tied and Dead To The World-----by Marilyn Manson it was really beautiful 11. Howard Hughes 12. The Olde Headboard 13. Leechwife -encore 14. Transylvanian Concubine 15. You Don't Own Me Melora inserted her usual comments between songs, some of the subjects included-- Jean Bennay Ramsey (the little girl who was killed by her parents, which has yet to be proven, coming to them in the night; Melora claiming her astrological sign is feces; and something about goats and staple guns. i am sick now b/c i could have brought a recorder and a camera but i didnt b/c i wasnt sure if id be searched.....so IF ANYONE HAS A TAPE OF THIS OR ANY RASPUTINA SHOW, PLEASE CONTACT ME, we can make a trade or something. when the ladies first came out there was total silence, i was captivated by them and it took me a while to even notice. i think she was very upset b/c she said somthing about if we all stick together the 45 mins will be over soon. to make up for it, i screamed as loud as i could the entire rest of the concert. thankfully, the crowd warmed up, and they even came out for an encore:)!! im soooo happy now, the only thing im upset about is not staying afterward to try to meet them:(, my ride wanted to leave. merchandise: they gave away free posters, with the cover of HWQTF and two promo picts, and postcards that doubled as stickers- with a pict of the ladies on it. they announced that they would be selling merchandise, but i think (hope) (assumed) it was only cd's b/c thats what they said. anyway, im counting the days until they come back here:) I CANT WAIT, im meeting them next time if it kills me. ~sherry ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 1998 18:20:37 EDT From: NINMANSON1@aol.com Subject: people with webpages! Kat ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 1998 18:38:44 EDT From: foxmulder@juno.com (Chris L Smith) Subject: NOTICE: TAPE TREE Hi all- I received, from Riley of this list, a Rasputina bootleg today. I am willing to start a tape tree for all those who would like a copy. The boot is from Washington (the 9:30 club), and includes an assortment of TFTE songs. Correct me if I'm wrong, Riley, but I believe this is an audience recording; it's not the best quality, but unless someone else chimes up with a Rasp boot, it's the best we've got. Couple notes on tape tree/bootleg edicate: I don't believe Rasputina has made a formal statement about bootlegging concerts, so keep that in mind. Also remember that we are not to make a profit off of their music; in other words, no selling or buying of bootlegs. LIke I said, I am willing to start a Tape Tree. For those of you unfamiliar with how tape trees work, here it goes: I copy the tape and work out trades with designated "branches." Each branch is assigned a certain amount of "leaves," with whom they then trade the tape. So in summary, I trade with branches who in turn trade with their leaves. What is being traded for the boot is left up to the branches their leaves; in this tape tree, though, WE WILL TRADE FOR BLANKS. In other words, if you do not have any boots of other bands to trade, your branch will trade you a copy of the boot for a blank tape. This is because it is difficult for one to start a hobby of tape trading if one does not have tapes to trade; everyone needs to get their start somewhere. It is up to the branch and his/her leaf to decide postage as well. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of this bootleg, sign up for the tape tree by mailing me. Copy the form below, fill it out, and email it to me. I need to know if you would be willing to be a branch or if you'd rather be a leaf; I also need to know what you have to trade, or if you are trading for blanks. If you intend to be a branch, I also need to know if you have terrible horrible problems trading for blanks, or if you would be willing to trade for blanks. - ----------copy what's below------------ Name: E-mail address: Location (state, country if not US): Branch or leaf?: Trade for blanks or do you have other tapes to trade? If other tapes, what are they? - ------------------------------------------------ I will accept forms until October 26th - that gives everyone ten days to respond. After that, I will assign leaves to branches, and get in touch with the branches to let them know who their leaves are. Then, they will contact their leaves individually. Any questions, mail me at foxmulder@juno.com. I hope I've explained everything clearly! Thanks again to Riley for the tape! Sherry, thanks for the review! This is the first concert I am aware of that has actually had an encore! Looking at the setlist, I am suprised that they played DwarfStar, since that seems more of a spoken word song than actual SONG, but....COOL! If anyone gets a chance to talk with any of the girls at a concert or whatever, be sure to ask them what WE can do to help them (pass out posters, whatever) and ask them if they'd answer a bunch of our questions if we compiled a list and mailed it to them.
