I've seen a couple early reviews where the reviewer refers to Melora as Melora Mather. So the CD you have must be by Melora from Rasputina....if Creager is a stage name or not, I have no idea. I've also seen "Creager" spelled "Krieger" or "kreager" in interviews, but I assume that that spelling is a typo. What's the name of the band and CD, btw? This is your resident goth hater speaking. Tonight, I have decided to forgo my usual overbearing, opinionated, dull, boring, and very, very old blah blah blahblah. I OWN A RASPUTINA NECKLACE!!! Okay. Now that that's done. I bought the CD at Hot Topic (which other than catering to instagoth types and selling shit for quality clothing (not style, quality) is pretty good) and they gave me this little necklace for free! Now, at first, my hatred of All Things Gothic swept into play, and I almost vomited. Then, I realized that I like Rasputina and hate gothic stuff. And since I like Rasputina, it must not be goth and I felt much better about liking it. It's pretty much a small ceramic heart with stitches on it, hung on a silk cord. varying colours, I chose the black one (NO COMMENTS, DAMN YOU!!!!). Simple, pretty, and very, very attractive. I got rather enamoured with mine and promptly lost it. Also, another band you people may like. Voltaire. They have the same style as the old Rasputina . . . cept they're a male band. Very nice, gypsy fiddle :> Look them up, I HIGHLY recommend them. -Michael ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Oct 1998 23:07:56 EDT From: GothGoil@aol.com Subject: Re: Rasputina necklaces == rather cool Michael, you like Volitare and Rasputina, you were in a Goth Tropic, and you chose a black cord. Honey, i think you're in denial. Since when does any of the above mean that one is a goth? I like Rasputina. I like Voltaire. (Wait, that's a different Voltaire..) I've been inside of Hot Topic. I like the color black. Does this make me a goth? pish! One would hope not. Do I consider myself a goth? Not in the slightest. There's more to it than just those things. I am sure that those who do consider themselves goths would agree with me. If you did not mean your mail by that, I am heartfully sorry.. alai. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Oct 1998 23:37:16 EDT From: SpltmoonLt@aol.com Subject: Re: Rasputina necklaces == rather cool In a message dated 98-10-11 23:26:10 EDT, sukovich@scsn.net wrote: > HI!
