Its not like we cant do it either if only 10 people want one, but it would be awesome if the whole list could have one to show we exsist...So my brother is the main contact for this thing so i can ask questions directly, just let me know! Oh also i got a promo copy of how we quit the forest, and its got a cool big book but no lyrics, so can someone type up the lyrics, or is it on someones page? thanks everyone!! kat ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 16:00:10 EDT From: Bludyknees@aol.com Subject: limited edition packaging Greetings, I just bought How We Quit The Forest and I got it in the limited edition packaging, the cd that comes with the book. It is adorable, I was just wondering why it was only $7 and the cd was $13. Does anyone know what the difference is, and why it would be less expansive than the other cd? You'd think limited edition would be pricier. Thanks, Misery ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 16:08:56 -0400 (EDT) From: Happy Fantom Subject: a few things has anyone gotten any mail from this "official rasputina email list"? i haven't. i love the album. i listen to it at work with my headphones on a lot and everytime i hear the Christian Soldiers i promise myself i WONT laugh when that guy makes his loud "uuuuuuh"s. but it doesnt work, i end up laughing, and i get a whole bunch of weird looks from the patrons (i work in a library) just thought i'd share:) so, its obvious that vrenna has had lots of influence on this album...butdoes anyone detect a tad of manson influence in a couple of places? leechwife in particular... ok, i think that's all i have to say:) oh, one more thing. Herb Girls Of Birkenau. it scares the sh*t out of me. its more haunting than Shirtwaist Fire, and that's hard to beat. for some reason it reminds me of the Bunnicula books from my childhood. toriniss, steve ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 16:24:45 -0400 (EDT) From: Happy Fantom Subject: im bored, this is what happens. Ok, so ive been listening to the song "How We Quit the Forest" alot. its interesting. this is what i think: "The Ostrich and the Egret" melora and julia "Had a very fine flat to let" an opening in the Ladies Cello Society, due to carpella leaving "Figurine hutch, no the place wasn't much" they weren't well-established in the music biz, so they didnt think they wouldn't find a good cellist to complete the trio. "but they got a Peacock" agnieszka "his belongings were meager but" i recall reading an interview saying her dad bought her cello for her from a guy who sold instruments out of a hut i think the web page explains the rest of it:) toriniss, steve ps- has anyone checked out the "enhanced" stuff? mildred (my computer) is ill and im using the ones at work, so i cant check it out. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 6 Aug 1998 13:45:20 -0700 (PDT) From: Posby Subject: Re: limited edition packaging On Thu, 6 Aug 1998 Bludyknees@aol.com wrote: > Greetings, > I just bought How We Quit The Forest and I got it in the limited edition > packaging, the cd that comes with the book.
