And even though I adore them as they are now, I'd love it if they broke new ground. IMO, evoloution of sound is important for a band to have, in order to hold an appeal. It keeps the same freshness that they had the first time you heard them, because you don't know what exactly to expect from release to release. So if you stick with the band a long time, it almost seems that they're releasing the same thing over and over again, but if they evolve their sound/experiment with new sounds/etc it's like you're hearing them for the first time again (okay, so maybe not *quite*, but you see my point).
