THREE of the same low-range, melancholy sounding instruments. one would think that would limit expressive possibility, yet they're more expressive than 90% (IMHO) of the groups out there, and the cello has such a low range, but the music never sounds muddled--you can always hear three distinct parts. the instrumentation is amazing and refreshing to say the least. and the unique sound made by instruments with hundreds of years of history (connected with hundreds of years of expectation of what a cello should sound like or do) that compliments so well the songs(or do the songs compliment the instruments?).anyway, i dig the cellos. my $.02 john ------------------------------ End of goths-digest V2 #15 **************************
