Tee Shirts, general Goths info - read OK, since I started the Rasputina shirt idea on the web site, I'll again give my opinion: I am willing to print the shirts. I have friends whom have printed mass quantities of shirts locally and they were pleased with the results. I've looked into this issue a bit, and we legally cannot reprint lyrics or use anything printed on the CD without permission from the band. I have a phone number for Sony Music, and I plan on using it when I get a phone card (long distance #, parents aren't keen on an exorbinant phone bill). If we are NOT given permission to use Rasputina symbols, we CAN use anything that is available in the public domain, ie anything we can find in, say, a phonebook or something. Like we can reprint tour dates or band members names. We could create our own designs (dolls, cellos, whatever), just can't pull them digitally from the CD cover. Oh, and printing actual people's faces on a shirt sometimes blurs or gets unviewable, so I've been recommended to stay away from using detailed images of people. And there is the color factor: the more colors we use, the more expensive the shirt will be. We have many ideas out there, now we need some examples! We need people to actually create a design (MrNny, I haven't yet viewed your design. Suffering browser problems....I'll get to it, thank you for contributing!) If I can get three or four people with designs, I can post them on the web site and we can vote via the internet. The web page is getting a makeover shortly, by Sunday I think. Once school started, I was lax in updating it (not that there was much to add to it....I'm open to suggestions! If anyone has images, audio files, text files of the band, mail them to kingcello@geocities.com and I'll make sure they get posted on the fan site and you get the credit for submitting them). Well, that's about it. I'm glad to see that everyone is becoming more active on this list - now that we're getting more mail, remember that there is a digest form for this list (all the messages for one day combined into one digest). I have read all of the posts about shirts, and this is my conclusion. When we want a shirt to be made on the manson, psychotica, cradle of filth, gnr, or type o list, we get everyones' opinion, and MAKE IT. why don't we just have a vote on our favorite shirt idea, and make it THE OFFICIAL RASPUTINA LIST SHIRT? i don't know if this would be out of the Question or what....just an idea.
