Sorry to break all the Switchblade Symphony stuff but is this all we talk
about now? I mean its fine if thats what you all want but all these private
conversations about another band are kinda, well who knows. How many of you
sent away for that Scrawl magazine with Rasputina? What was it like? Im too
lazy to send 2.00 out. Well I know everyone has introduced themselves to some
extent and its cool having a bunch of people reading what you write and
having a group type feeling but noone really knows anything about anyone, at
least anything people respond to. Like with AOL profiles. Everyone yells at
me because I dont have my birthdate, name, location ect..on it but i have
other stuff which I feel says who I am more then when i was born, right? So
why dont we start a topic of conversation or something? I dont know im just
trying to open up some things here, if im a fucking idiot, well then im a
fucking idiot. ill live. So how about everyones views on the people at their
school or works or whatever, things they are surrounded with? Just share
anything you want to about anything, i know this is a Rasputina list but I
mean talk about anything! And how you relate to rasputina or something. Im
just throwing out things into the wind here, so let me know if anyone catches

When Melora says, "and number three, coinsidental misfortune at every
turn" the second time, who else thinks this is _way_ Heavenly
Creatures-ish?... I mean, if you've seen Heavenly Creatures, it reminds me
of something Kate Winslet would say in that movie. Just a thought...

I agree, I'll start. You all can call me Morwen. I'm homeschooled and I spend
alot of time online, which is how I find out about alot of neat bands.
Rasputina is one of my favorite bands, which reminds me of some
questions...does anyone have the lyrics to Golden Grains, Small Boy Jumps, or
Comb Killing? those are songs by Rasputina but didnt show up on the album. I

Subject: Rasputina

  Hello all. Rasputina is such a great band. I read about them in a magazine
review. A week or so later I found out they were playing near here so I went.
I am so glad I did. I have never heard another group of musicians with such a
unique sound. Absolutely wonderful. 
 Thanks for listening to my rambling, I am just glad to here from others that
love this music. I have only met one other person who has even heard of them
and he went to the show with me so I don't count that.
