I go to a lot of acoustic music shows and throughout the years, John remains my favorite. He was in great form tonight very funny and quick witted, laughing often and singing beautifully. He was joined by Amilia K. Spicer who opened and harmonized on several songs. The set was a great mix of old an new. Sorry, I was too busy enjoying myself to keep a set list. He said that he was doing something that was requested last night and not done. I have no idea if he was just making this up or not, but he said to tell those of you in Utah that he did Edgar the Party Man. As always, John does not disappoint. He is just a delight in every way. He opened the set with the song about getting a little bit out of his head. Boy, can I relate to that. Then he said that he never thought that he would write a song that said he wanted to have a party tonight, because He then started the guitar intro to the next song and many of us just started singing, Im from New Jersey. I bought a DVD. I will give the rest of you a chance to buy it and then we can compare notes. Heads up on the DVDs, he was only taking cash. They cost $45.
