I am curious if he is performing my favorite song from the new CD, Unblindfold the Referree. I am one of those that doesn't care if she ever hears Love is Our Cross or Stranger With Your Hair ever again. For years I have been going to Gorka shows hoping for a whole brand new set with maybe just a couple of the oldies thrown in. Just curious. It turned cold here in Chicago, but I am not one to complain about that like so many around me. I love the cool air coming off the lake as I walk in the morning. Fits my mood just fine! Dino, thanks for the song of the week. But yes he did play a couple off the new disc (can't remember the other at the moment). I wrote a review of a show a few weeks ago and sent it to the list. I do not remember getting any replies. I was wondering if it got to the list or lost in cyberspace? It did include "Unblindfold the Referee." If you guys never saw it, let me know and I will dig it up, hopefully, and post it again. Unfortunately the song stayed in my head for days and the words changed to "unblindfold the refugee," which is something different. I often mean to post, I'm a big fan of John's and he frequents my dad's shop (I've run into him a few times there), but then I find myself at a loss for words! Mailing lists make me shy, I think. I'm more vocal about my JG admiration in real-life... I've converted many new fans by making mix tapes and CDs. I shall try to post more! Just wondering if everyone is on both lists or just one? Maybe we could all agree on one to use instead of half posting to one and half to the other? For example, Bryn sent her message to both lists but then there are individual replies on each list. Just wondering what everyone thinks. I would prefer the Yahoo list myself, just because it gives you the option to read on the web or via email.
