I thought maybe the cat was coughing up a hairball or something. It was just an unusual sound. I looked up and saw crow's feet on the sky light. The noise, I suppose, was the flapping of wings to assist getting up there, since the two slid off a few times before they were able to perch on top and peck at the sky light. They were gone in a few minutes. Do you think that they were Jack's? Gorka's version of Sweet Love is beautiful. However, it was hearing Lucinda Williams' cover of Here In California on the local radio that sent me to the store to buy the CD. First time I saw John was at the Kate Wolf Festival back in 99 when it was still held here in Sebastopol.
