One of the BEST in my opinion! :-) Here are the lyrics. SMOKEY Like my watch, I'm a little slow And I don't always go when I'm s'posed to I'll take my time and still change my mind And I'll stop if you drop me Like my cup, I'm a little dry So please take the time to fill me Take out my spoon and you'll see real soon That it don't take much to stir me Like my shoes, I'm not too new But I don't like to get stepped on A little polish, a little shine and I will turn out fine If you rub me in the right way Like my lamp, I'm not too bright So I don't have any more words Mmm..mmm...mmm Like my watch, I'm a little slow And I don't always go when I'm s'posed to I'll take my time and still change my mind And I'll stop if you drop me ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Dec 2003 07:36:37 -0800 From: "Gina" Subject: Re: Berkeley Thanks Smokey. For some reason I thought that there was something "hidden" that I was missing. Timothy's post read: "Always" is up there with "Like My Watch" in one of the favorite hidden Gorka melodies Oh well. "Always" just happens to be that for me. ~tim - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2003 10:43 AM Subject: Re: Berkeley > Oh...I get it! Sorry! So, what is you favorite? Mine? I didn't get around to posting about the Apple Farm show a few weeks ago. John was fantastic, in good voice, and the best I have seen him in years. He seemed a little angry (politically), and that added a spark that has been missing, IMO, since he has been happily married and a dad. He said he tries to spend a lot of time at home now, while the kids "still like him," but added, once they become teenagers, he'll be "traveling alot. ;). BTW, this was the first time I ever had the "mental request" work for me - he performed "I Know," another song I always wanted to hear live. Fantastic! I have tickets to the Tin Angel show next month. Can't wait!
