I've listened to it a few times and here's what jumps out at me immediately: 1. The seemingly ever-present Alice Peacock is here. 2. Heavy use of keyboards. Still undecided on my like/dislike at this point, but you definitely notice it throughout the album. 3. Really like the song Shapes. Especially this lyric: Words alone won't say what you want them to Words are just the shapes that let the feeling through So come over here I think we'll be alright You still have the heart and I haven't lost the fight I get the sense listening that John still wants to touch people and make a difference. I just think he's realized that rather than make a small difference to many he may be better off making a bigger difference to the few. Like us .... And it doesn't seem as if he's got a problem with that. I know I don't. I'm looking forward to discussion on the album. I always get more out of John's albums after listening to the good noise about them. Peace, Michael ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V6 #44 *******************************
