To think that the moratorium on songs of crime and punishment may soon be lifted.....and a new CD is on the horizon? Woo Hoo! God does indeed work in mysterious ways. Thanks Beth for a most excellent story and I could hear the concert and feel the mood in your writing. He doesn't have any concerts scheduled close to where I live, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Can't wait to hear the new album! A question to those of you out there, has anyone heard John tryout any new material before he put it on an album? I saw Richard Shindell a few months ago and he played 3 new songs that are likely to end up on his next CD. Just wondering..... >From: "Gina" >Reply-To: good-noise@smoe.org >To: >Subject: Re: John in King of Prussia, PA >Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2003 23:19:38 -0700 > >Thanks for the review Beth. Bryn & Gina, thanks for your kind words. I really wish everyone on the list could have heard this concert, it was a perfect evening. One other detail: John closed the first, short set, with "People My Age." He told us he placed the song there, because he planned to do "more, other songs" in the second half, and, that way, we wouldn't have to leave with that song "in our heads." Too much! :) Beth - -- INS/JerseyNet Web-Based Email ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Jul 2003 18:44:37 -0700 From: "Gina" Subject: Re: John in King of Prussia, PA Isn't it amazing what a good JG concert can do for you? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "B.
