Perhaps Gina hasn't heard Darryl's song "Bryant Street", on the CD "A
Crooked Line".  It's very moving.

Also, I would like to second the recommendation to host Darryl at a house
concert.  I have just booked him for the second time, and I can't wait!

If it did, I'd have been convicted about 30 shows ago! :-)

Never had the privilege of seeing Darryl live, but I've heard Ellis do "Bryant Street" (he co-wrote it) and agree, it's a tear-jerker.

Other than that, the only songs guaranteed to break me up are Mary Chapin Carpenter's "lost love" songs, and man, she's got a lot of them!  Too many memories...

Haven't seen John lately and don't see him on the schedule anytime soon, but have Don Conoscenti coming up, Christopher Williams, Tom Prasada-Rao, Vance Gilbert, Richard and Tracy, and Ellis and Vance.  Then we'll see what's on tap after May. :-)

I will be seeing him here in Sebastopol on Friday 2/28.  I'm pretty excited.  
It's the first time he's been to Sebastopol since he played at the Kate Wolf 
Festival in 99.  I will post about the show and not any new songs if he 
should happen to play them.
