First of all, I do thank a higher power for search engines. How brilliant is Bryn? Second, one of the things that sort of came out of this thread is that there were people here who are not affiliated with organized religion and even atheists. I get the feeling, and this is a generalization, that many of the people who follow contemporary folk music are good hearted people with intelligence, awareness, truth and appreciation of wonderful things in life. It doesn't take organized religion or fear of God to be a good person. Having this brought to the forefront of my attention made me feel hopeful in a time where I am fearful and feeling gloomy about what is going on in the world. Thanks for the good noise.
